BigBang Philippines (Or VIP Philippines) was founded on January 4, 2008. The founders have been BigBang fans since the boys debuted in 2006, others have been fans since their GDYB days, and thought of starting a fanclub dedicated to them. A forum was made, as well as a website and groups on social networking sites. This led to the growth of BBPH, as members and staff fondly call it.
Since its founding on January 4, 2008, BBPH has held several major gatherings as well as small get-togethers for the Filipino VIPs to meet and get to know one another. BBPH also participated in Arirang’s KPop Party event in mid 2008, along with various local fanclubs. Three project books have also been made by the staff and members as gifts to BigBang. All of these project books contain fan signs, art, and messages as well as photos from different fanclub activities and events. These were made to show the Filipino VIPs’ love and support for BigBang.
