Good day VIPs!

We have received a handful of inquiries regarding the upcoming KPOP and Culture Fest. The core members of Big Bang Philippines came up with a decision not to participate in the said event. We did get an invitation to join the event, and we are more than pleased to hear that. However, with KPOP Convention 2 coming up later this year and other fan club activities and projects which were already planned beforehand, it would be tedious and costly for the fan club and core. Trying to put up a Big Bang Philippines / VIP Philippines booth takes a lot of time, effort and resources. Participation and involvement in events like this need careful planning and preparation, and we feel that there is enough time to be able to prepare everything that we will be needing.

With this decision to not participate in the event, we would like to make it clear that we are not preventing anyone from going. It will still be up to the members whether they would like to attend the said event or not. You may go if you want to. As they said, it is not just about KPOP but the entire Korean Culture. Take it as an advantage to learn more about the Korean Culture and other Korean artists.

Please be aware that we have been using both Big Bang Philippines AND VIP Philippines as our fan club names. In the case that there is a Big Bang-related booth at the KPOP and Culture Fest referring to themselves as either of these names, we are not affiliated with them in anyway whatsoever.

We are proud to be the first and only fan club for Big Bang in the Philippines since January 4, 2008. And we are very thankful and grateful towards our members! Please continue to support our future fan club events and projects.
